As OH&S Advisor you will provide the highest standard of value added solutions through qualitative, flexible and relevant OH&S consultation services that align with business strategies This is a senior level position which will require a strong strategic focus. Working closely with stakeholders in a business partnering capacity you will advise on large scale policy, procedure, change management and implementation. You will drive a unified and consistent approach to Safety Health and Environment across this diverse business as part of an objective to achieve worlds best practice and to add value to the business. - Creates a safety and environment awareness culture across all levels in the workplace, establishing OH&S philosophy throughout the business.
- Provide legislative and work related safety advice, risk assessments incident investigations and safety procedures.
- Identify, assess and recommend suitable and reasonable risk control solutions for workplace hazards within the company’s policy and state legal framework
- Developing and maintaining effective professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Critical to your success will be an open communication style, and a reputation for your ability to think strategically and enthuse people about proactive safety management. Experience preferably gained in a professional services environment with a focus on understanding the corporate office environment and specific risks and issues is required.
