David Owens - Managing Director

 

David Owens is the Managing Director and a founder of the HR Partners brand. David is based in Sydney and draws upon 25 years of recruitment industry experience across Australia and the UK. He is actively involved in recruitment activities and plays a substantial role in supporting senior search assignments. In 2014, HR Partners was acquired by Randstad and David is an integral member of the Randstad Leadership Team, playing a key role in leading and shaping the business. David manages the visibility of HR Partners in the Professional Services sector, where HR Partners has a major focus.

Stephanie Patoka - General Manager NSW

 

Stephanie Patoka has more than 13 years of recruitment experience, and has worked for HR Partners for the past 10 years as a specialist HR recruiter. She started her HR recruitment career in London with Digby Morgan UK, before transferring to our Sydney office where she has been for the past 8 years. She specialises in executive level search and has a breadth of experience partnering with clients in a full range of industries. Stephanie has a very personal professional approach and prides herself on delivering an exceptional service to her candidates and clients.

Harriet Barclay - Team Leader


Harriet has extensive experience within HR Talent Acquisition and recruitment gained from the London and Sydney markets. She is dedicated to delivering business outcomes through HR solutions and is passionate about HR talent and the discipline as a whole. Her candidates and clients are at the centre of what she does and for her; the relationships built, the customer experience and a positive outcome is key. Harriet brings strong HR networks across financial and professional services and commerce and manages senior and executive appointments.

Sophie Tompsett - Principal Consultant

Sophie is a seasoned recruitment professional with over 9 years experience working both in HR agency recruitment and in house talent teams for global tech and banking firms. She has been lucky enough to have worked both abroad in London and Sydney and now specialises in senior and executive level HR appointments. Sophie has a consultative and personable style and loves building engaging and meaningful relationships with her clients and candidates, ultimately priding herself on delivering exceptional customer service to everyone she interacts with.

Kayla Lee Hoye - Senior Consultant

Kayla is an experienced recruitment professional offering unique expertise; having worked in both internal and external HR teams over the past nine years. After starting her career off in internal HR, Kayla made the move into recruitment in 2014, where she has since had a strong track record of acquiring top talent for a range of businesses, across various industries. Kayla is well known for her passion, dedication, and ability to build genuine partnerships with both candidates and clients

Carla Wilkinson - Senior Consultant

 

Carla has over a years experience recruiting within the commercial I.T. and construction industries. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology, Carla has a passion for understanding the motivations and goals of her clients and candidates to make the right employment fit. Carla prides herself on providing great customer service and building meaningful relationships. Carla will be managing permanent and contract entry to mid level roles.

Sarah Shore - Consultant

​​Sarah has experience recruiting within FMCG and construction industries in Newcastle. Moving to Sydney in April 2016 she began recruiting within professional services, banking and finance, education, aviation, infrastructure, and energy and utilities industries. She enjoys creating relationships with her clients and candidates and is passionate about providing them with an exceptional service and finding the best employment fit for clients and candidates alike. Sarah will be managing temporary and fixed term contract mid level roles.

Josephine Hendy - Consultant

​After graduating with a Bachelor of Business, Josephine started her career in the Recruitment industry with Randstad Education where she managed a high volume temporary desk for over three years. She prides herself on her great customer service skills and attention to detail. Josephine will be managing the Government sector, focusing on entry to mid level contract and permanent roles

Shirley Dietvorst - Consultant

Shirley is a dedicated young professional all the way from the Netherlands, where she worked for Randstad for 3.5 years in both recruitment and business development. She has a degree in Business and Management where she has learned a lot on cultural behaviours. Nowadays she uses this knowledge to make the best cultural fit between clients and candidates. She believes this can best be achieved when there is a strong long term relationship with both parties. At HR Partners in Sydney she is managing the permanent, temporary and contract roles in entry and mid level together with Carla.

Celeste Rowan - Brand Advisor / Executive Assistant to Managing Director 


Celeste support's Managing Director David Owens as well as our directors and teams in Nsw South Wales, Melbourne, Brisbane, and New Zealand on all levels of executive and marketing support. Celeste is in charge of marketing initiatives and strategies for HR Partners on a national scale as well as supporting the New Zealand offices.  She also coordinates Sydney's HR Networking Groups, in particular the Executive HR Network Group events. 

Celeste comes from a marketing and public relations background, previously speacilaising in the veteran recruitment.

Katerina Markovska - Team Coordinator / Resourcer

 

Katerina supports the HR Partners team in the Sydney office. Having previously completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Human resources and undertaken administrative support and customer service roles in HR and the health/fitness industry; she now enjoys supporting HR Partners in all aspects of recruitment.
