job description

Role Overview

The Senior ER Specialist will work closely with the OD team and across the business and provide expert advice on ER Related matters. This role will report to the OD Team Leader

The Senior ER Specialist will be role will be responsible in managing and leading the following:

  • Reviewing the organisation’s performance management and disciplinary procedures, researching options, developing or sourcing tools or systems and training and coaching on these.
  • Reviewing and determining when and how external legal support is utilised for disciplinary and other employee relations matters.
  • Sound knowledge and advice on performance management, the interpretation of Awards, Enterprise Agreements, employment related legislation and internal policies and procedures.
  • Leading the process to renegotiate and establish the two Enterprise Agreements for the organisation in accordance with the relevant timelines and the framework and strategic direction set by the Executive.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as an ER Specialist/Consultant, or HR/OD Advisor
  • Experience in ER in a medium to large organisation
  • Experience in training and coaching managers and supervisors

The role:

  • Part-time, 22.8 hours p/w
  • Flexible with opportunity to work from home on occations
