As an HR Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the HR Manager with administrative tasks, project contributions, and payroll guidance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, you'll help develop the HR framework for this family-owned manufacturing business.

For someone who shares our company's principles and values, this role holds the potential to evolve into an advisory or Business Partner position in the future.

Your day to day will include:
  • Provide day-to-day support for HR administrative operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of HR processes
  • Assist in all aspects of recruitment, including drafting advertisements, shortlisting candidates, coordinating interviews, conducting compliance checks, and managing contracts
  • Compile materials for new employee orientation and onboarding, overseeing completion of online modules
  • Maintain all necessary employee correspondence in personnel files, both online and in HRIS
  • Manage the preparation and processing of weekly payroll for approximately 150 employees
  • Address verbal and written payroll queries promptly and effectively
  • Coordinate updates related to awards and legislative changes in collaboration with the HR Manager
  • Assist in gathering data for various reports as needed
  • Coordinate events, meetings, and onsite presentations
  • Support the HR Manager in implementing new HR initiative
About you:
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships
  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or relevant experience
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • You understand the impact of employee decisions on key business operations
  • You’ve got a strong eye for detail and are diligent. Able to undertake audits and reviews of key processes and controls
  • Take reasonable care to protect your own health, safety and welfare at all times
This opportunity will provide:
  • A culture of care, reputation, equality and determination
  • Work with some of the brightest minds in the business
  • A rewarding role that will truly contribute to our growth strategy and support our people on their journey with us
  • Build a career and drive your own future
  • Onsite parking and WHF opportunities (once probational period is complete)
