Our clients is an Australian owned infrastructure company who have been delivering quality projects and services across the country for over 45 years. Specialising in civil infrastructure works, they take pride in their diverse range of services within the road and construction sector. Due to growth within their company, they are seeking a new individual to join their HR team.

Could this be the role for you?

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in providing specialist HR advice and driving forward new initiatives across their business. Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer, you will be based full-time at the head office in the Northern Suburbs.

Your day to day:

  • Become a trusted advisor providing advice, coaching and training to leaders with regards to performance management, employment relations, remuneration and best practice HR solutions.
  • Identify and implement a range of HR policies, procedures and processes across on boarding, training, staff movements, to support effective people management practices that comply with the company and ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
  • Provide detailed advice on ER/IR, interpreting Enterprise Agreements, modern awards, Fair Work Act and the National Employment Standards.
  • Project management and delivery of HR initiatives and new projects

About You:

To be suitable for this role, It is necessary that you have experience within a HR Advisor capacity. Additionally

  • HR Advisor experience within the construction / development sector or any blue collar workforce is highly regarded
  • Previous experience providing HR advice across specialised business units, staff,
  • management and to peers and members of the wider HR team
  • Previous experience with HR platforms and systems – their implementation and use are highly desirable.
