We are looking for a HR Business Partner to join a growing organisation with a supportive, easy going culture where people are approachable and everyone works well together. This dynamic organisation is expanding through the acquisition of a small business in North Queensland!
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a range of HR functions and you will have full ownership of the Queensland portfolio, including managing the addition of a manageable number of new employees from the growth of the business.
As part of a strong HR team of 4, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting upcoming projects that many HR professionals will find rewarding!
Key Responsibilities:
Provide HR advice and administrative support to management and employees, ensuring alignment with company strategy
Assist with HR reporting, personnel administration, labour relations, onboarding, and license record-keeping.
Ensure personnel records meet statutory, organisational, and employee requirements.
Stay updated on relevant legal, regulatory, WHS, and company-specific policies.
Manage employee relations concerns, grievances, and investigations in line with company procedures.
Assist with performance management, job analysis, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
Support the implementation and management of remuneration and benefits, ensuring alignment with the company’s framework.
Contribute to HR projects, including potential updates to HRIS and developing key people initiatives.
About you:
Proficiency in HR software tools and workplace investigations.
Experience in general HR activities, employment law, industrial relations, and HR compliance
