Our client is innovative and a leader in their field. As they continue to go through an expansion phase they have a newly created opportunity for a HR Coordinator to join the team on an initial 6 month contract to commence early June
In this varied and engaging role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of the HR department, contributing to a positive employee experience from recruitment to ongoing development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support: Assist with various stages of the recruitment process, from advertising roles to candidate communication.
- Interview Coordination: Conduct telephone screening and seamlessly coordinate and schedule interviews for candidates and hiring managers.
- Visa Application Processing: Assist with visa applications for employees to work in international locations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Pre-employment Checks: Coordinate and track pre-employment checks including medical examinations for new hires.
- Employee Onboarding: Facilitate a welcoming and efficient onboarding experience for all new employees.
- HR Inbox Management: Efficiently manage and respond to inquiries received via the HR inbox, escalating as necessary.
- Training Coordination: Assist with booking and coordinating various training sessions and development programs.
- HR Advice: Provide General HR advice and assistance to employees, assist with performance reviews and provide advice and coaching to managers
- HR Administration: Prepare employee contracts, letters & other HR related documentation
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- HR degree or similar qualification
- 2-3 years proven experience in a HR Advisor or Coordinator role, within a Human Resources department.
- Experience in recruitment and onboarding including international visa process
- Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A proactive and problem-solving approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A genuine interest in Human Resources and a desire to learn and grow within the field.
- Understanding of Australian employment laws and visa requirements (desirable).
