We are seeking an experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisor for a leading Melbourne venue! This part-time (0.8 FTE) role offers the chance to step up, mentor a small team and shape the employee experience.
Reporting to the Head of People Support and Services, you'll be the go-to for ER advice, contributing to a positive work environment through expert guidance, policy work, and case management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the go-to advisor for employee relations matters across the organisation.
- Manage employee relations cases, providing sound assessments and guidance on resolution.
- Understand Fair Work conciliations and the associated processes.
- Offer practical, balanced employee relations guidance.
- Lead the review, development, and implementation of HR policies.
- Manage employee relations processes, including conducting less complex investigations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience (5+ years) as an ER Advisor in a complex environment.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law.
- Experience managing ER cases.
- Practical ER advice and guidance skills.
- Policy review and development experience.
- Familiarity with EBAs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Independence and a proactive approach.
- A growth mindset and passion for positive workplace relations.
- Mentoring experience (desirable).
