We are looking for a HR Business Partner to join a growing organisation with a supportive, easy going culture where people are approachable and everyone works well together. This dynamic organisation is expanding through the acquisition of a small business in North Queensland!

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a range of HR functions and you will have full ownership of the Queensland portfolio, including managing the addition of a manageable number of new employees from the growth of the business.

As part of a strong HR team of 4, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting upcoming projects that many HR professionals will find rewarding!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide HR advice and administrative support to management and employees, ensuring alignment with company strategy

• Assist with HR reporting, personnel administration, labour relations, onboarding, and license record-keeping.

• Ensure personnel records meet statutory, organisational, and employee requirements.

• Stay updated on relevant legal, regulatory, WHS, and company-specific policies.

• Manage employee relations concerns, grievances, and investigations in line with company procedures.

• Assist with performance management, job analysis, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.

• Support the implementation and management of remuneration and benefits, ensuring alignment with the company’s framework.

• Contribute to HR projects, including potential updates to HRIS and developing key people initiatives.

About you:

• Proficiency in HR software tools and workplace investigations.

• Experience in general HR activities, employment law, industrial relations, and HR compliance
