Safety Business Partner

We're seeking a proactive and people-focused Safety Business Partner to lead safety culture, compliance, and risk initiatives in a high-risk, operational environment. This role partners across various teams to deliver meaningful safety improvements and coach frontline leaders.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Champion a proactive safety culture and coach teams on best practices

  • Ensure compliance with various regulations

  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions

  • Deliver training on safety systems, fatigue, and emergency response

  • Engage with regulatory bodies and support audit preparation

  • Drive continuous improvement and contribute to strategic safety planning

You’ll Bring:

  • Qualifications in WHS or a related field

  • Experience in high-risk environments

  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills

  • In-depth knowledge of safety legislation and systems

  • A passion for safety and a collaborative, influential mindset
