job description

HR Partners is partnering with a well-known organisation based in the South West of Sydney for the recruitment of an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Business Partner with an IR specialism for an 12 month Fixed Term Contract. Backed by a well rounded HR team and manager, you will deliver on both operational and strategic HR solutions to business leaders and their people.

Key areas of responsibility include but not limited to:

  • Establishing sound relationships and engaging with key stakeholders within the business
  • Actively lead and contribute as a change champion within the business in line with the business, growth and organisational change strategies
  • Consult with and support senior management on HR, Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR) processes, policies and procedures
  • Case management, providing best practice ER and IR advice and coaching on legislation and practices
  • ER and IR matters and Union dealings
  • Partner with the team leaders and business leaders across all areas of HR, IR and ER


To be successful in this position, you will be:

  • A highly motivated, self-starter, commercial and an experienced HR professional, who brings with them considerable experience in developing high quality HR solutions to enable a business to achieve its key drivers
  • Have approximately 5-6 years of prior HR generalist experience and in a similar role, especially in mixed or blue collar workforce re Industrial Relations experience with working with Enterprise Agreements
  • Have strong stakeholder management and strong experience with employee and industrial relations
